The Restorative Justice Clemency & Parole Project

Circling back to community.

filmpanel.jpg

I am a community member and I want a circle.

I’m a minster, a teacher, a neighbor, a district attorney, a government official, or I run an agency or non-profit.

I want a community-based circle process for someone incarcerated and the people left behind.

I am coming home soon and I want a circle.

I’ve done my time.

I now want to sit with my family, supporters, and others who were affected by my conduct.

I am ready to connect and rebuild.

I am affected by the past and I want a circle.

I was impacted by the conduct of an incarcerated person.

I want to be heard and wonder what it would be like to hear from them. I seek to disentangle myself, and them, from the past event that bound us together.

“Returning home, I was worried I’d bump into the family of the person I hurt at a Dunkin Donuts and end up having a painful conversation there. So I reached out to The RJCP Project for a more restorative way forward.”
